Marburg is a small university town with a nice historic center, it is between Frankfurt and Kassel. Kassel is the heart of Germany :) and my hometown.
I was born in Kassel - I am 24- and I still live here. That means I travel an hour with train to Marburg to University. I love the hours sitting in the train reading, listening to music or just looking out of the window and enjoying the landscape, depending on the season green or totally white.
I have not moved to Marburg because I love the traveling and Kassel. This is a picture of me in front of the Orangerie in the Karlsaue which is my favourite place in Kassel.

My parents were born in Turkey, so I have two cultures and hope to give you an impression of both when we finally meet in ten days!
In my free time I work at an institution for tutoring, I go to yoga and pilates courses, meet friends and we eat pizza, ice-cream or drink coffee :)
This summer I have to write my exam thesis about "New Media in English Class - WebQuests" which fits to our program "Education in the 21st Century". I hope I can manage the difficult timing.
But for sure is that I am excited to meet you and to learn more about the American teaching system and to see the EWU, Seattle, Washington D.C. and ... and... and.. It will be a great experience!
Greetings from Germany,
Nermin
